Commonly Asked Questions

Listed below are some of the most common questions asked about student housing. Check to see if any of your questions are answered below.

Contact the office if you need more specific answers or with any other questions you may have.

  • When and where can I sign up?

    • Come to our office located at 150 E. 400 N., Logan or email us at loganpreferredproperties@gmail.com to start the sign up process. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • What information do I need to sign up?

    • If you are a current resident, please be prepared with your photo identification and deposit as a check or money order. A deposit covering the non-refundable portion of your current contract will be due for each new contract being signed.

    • If you are a new incoming tenant, you must fill out a Student Application. A credit and background check will be performed. Please be prepared with​ photo identification, $20 application fee, and $200 deposit. These must be separate payments. The application fee may be paid with cash, check, or money order. The deposit may be paid with a check or money order.

  • Where do I go to move in?

    • Stop by the office at 150 E. 400 N. in Logan to ​​​pick up your key before moving in. Your rent payments must be current in order to receive your key.

  • When is rent due?

    • Rent for summer lease agreements is due on April 10th.

    • Rent payments for school year lease agreements is due on July 10th, August 10th, October 10th, and December 10th.

  • How do I pay rent?

    • Rent can be paid in person or by mail. Rent must be paid in the form of a check or money order. Kampus Korner residents are allowed to pay with a credit/debit card over the phone or in person as well. Kampus Korner checks must be made out to Kampus Korner.

  • How do I sell my lease agreement?

    • You may sell your lease at any time. You must fill out an Intent to Sell Form from the office. Once this form has been filled out, your name and phone number will be placed on a list. If interested persons inquire about buying a contract, your name and number will be given to them. You are responsible for deciding how much to sell your contract for and selling your lease.

    • There is a $200 re-rent fee to sell your contract. This fee may be included in what you charge. You must inform the office once you have found an individual to buy your lease. You are responsible for your lease and it's payments until someone new takes over the lease. You will be refunded after the lease is sold.

    • The individual purchasing your contract will come to the office to fill out a Student Application, pay the application fee, and pay the deposit when they sign the lease. All rent payments will be paid to our office.

    • You must return your key to the office upon moving out.

  • How do I buy a contract?

    • When you have agreed to buy an individual's contract, you must fill out the Student Application. You may email your completed application to loganpreferredproperties@gmail.com or come to the office to pick up an application.

    • You may come to the office to sign your new lease agreement or specify you would like it sent electronically to sign. Please be prepared with​ photo identification, $20 application fee, and $200 deposit.

    • You may pick up your key and move in on the first day of your lease agreement. Come to the office at 150 E. 400 N. Logan, in order to pick up your move in packet.
