Commonly Asked Questions

Listed below are some of the most common questions asked by students.  Check to see if any of yours are answered below.

  • When and where can I sign up?

    • Current residents may sign up beginning January 15th. New incoming tenants may sign up beginning February 15th. Come to our office located at 150 E. 400 N., Logan.

  • What information do I need to sign up?

    • If you are a current resident, please be prepared with your photo identification and deposit as a check or money order. A deposit of $50 for each new contract will be due upon signing.

    • If you are a new incoming tenant, you must fill out an application. The Student Application can be found here. A credit and background check will be performed. Please be prepared with​ photo identification, $20 application fee, and $200 deposit. These must be separate payments. The application fee may be paid with cash, check, or money order. The deposit may be paid with a check or money order.

  • Where do I go to move in?

    • Stop by the office at 150 E. 400 N. in Logan to ​​​pick up your key before moving in. Your rent payments must be current in order to receive your key.

  • When is rent due?

    • Rent for summer lease agreements is due on April 15th.

    • Rent payments for school year lease agreements are due on July 15th, August 15th, October 15th, and December 15th.

  • How do I pay rent?

    • Rent can be paid in person or by mail. Rent must be paid in the form of a check or money order. Kampus Korner residents are allowed to pay with a credit/debit card over the phone or in person as well.

  • How do I sell my lease agreement?

    • You may sell your lease at any time. You must fill out an Intent to Sell Form from the office. Once this form has been filled out, your name and phone number will be placed on a list. If interested persons inquire about buying a contract, your name and number will be given to them.

    • You are responsible for selling your contract, and deciding how much to sell your contract for. You must inform the office once you have found an individual to buy your lease.

    • The individual purchasing your contract will come to the office to fill out a Student Application and pay the application fee and deposit. All rent payments will be paid to our office.

    • You must return your key to the office upon moving out.

  • How do I buy a contract?

    • When you have agreed to buy an individual's contract, you must fill out the Student Application which can be found here.  You may email your completed application to loganpreferredproperties@gmail.com or come to the office to pick up an application.

    • You may come to the office to sign your new lease agreement or specify you would like it sent electronically to sign. Please be prepared with​ photo identification, $20 application fee, and $200 deposit.

    • You may pick up your key and move in on the first day of your lease agreement.  Come to the office at 150 E. 400 N. Logan, in order to pick up your move in packet.
