Commonly Asked Questions

Listed below are some of the common questions our office is asked.  Check to see if any of your questions are answered.

  • When can I check out a key?

    • Properties stating that a key can be checked out from the office may be viewed any time Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please bring a photo ID with you.

  • Do you allow pets?

    • Logan Preferred Property Management has a general no pet policy unless it is otherwise specified.​ If a property is pet friendly, it will be listed in the description of the rental.

  • How long does the application process take?

    • Applications take an average of 24 hours to process. Once a decision has been made, the office with contact the applicants with an answer as soon as possible.​

  • When and how do I pay the application fee?

    • An application fee of $35 is required for each application. This is paid when the application is first on the waiting list for a specific property. Payment is accepted as cash, check, or money order.

  • How long are the leases?

    • A typical lease is for a period of one year. Any differences in lease length will be listed in the property description.

  • How much is the deposit?

    • In most cases, the deposit amount will be the same as the monthly rent amount.

  • How do I pay rent?

    • Rent can be paid in person, or mailed to the office, as a check or money order. Rent may also be paid online here. The office does not accept card or cash payments.

  • How do I get a rent payment receipt?

    • Receipts may be picked up in person at the front desk when paying rent or if limited personal contact is preferred, the rent payment may be placed in the drop box just outside the office doors and an email sent to Include your name, address, and the month of receipt being requested.

  • How do I sell my contract?

    • If you are needing to move out before the completion of your lease, you will need to sell the remainder of the contract. Stop by the office to fill out a Vacate Notice and the property will be put on the rental list. Tenants are responsible for the contract (including rent and any applicable utility bills) ​until new tenants move in. A $100 re-rent fee will be charged upon the sell of the lease.

  • How do I give a 30-Day Notice?

    • Logan Preferred Property Management requires a formal, written, 30-Day Notice to be given before move out. Come to the office to request this paperwork 30 days before the end of your lease agreement.

  • What is the move out process?

    • Upon move-out, return all keys and garage door openers to the office. Please be prepared to provide your name, forwarding address, and receipt of the required carpet cleaning.
